Copy that sells: speak like your customer
Beautiful words do not sell. Clear words do. Here is how we write website copy that turns visitors into customers.
When a visitor opens your site, they have three questions in mind: what do you offer, is it for me and what should I do now. If your copy does not answer them within a few seconds, design cannot save it.
Cut the empty words
Phrases like market leader or innovative solutions tell the reader nothing, because every competitor says them. Replace them with concrete facts: how many years of experience, how many clients, how fast you reply.
Write for one person
Picture your best customer and write as if you were talking to them across a table. Short sentences and everyday language work better than any technical vocabulary.
One clear action
Every page should have one main action, and only one. If you ask a visitor to call, download the catalogue and follow you on social media all at once, chances are they will do none of them.
